Kambaku

Kambaku is the Tsonga word for “Great Tusker” or “Old, Soliatry Elephant Bull” The Kambaku Lodge is located in the Timbavati  Private Nature Reserve bordering Kruger National Park. This portrait captures the imposing yet dignified presence of an African elephant. Emerging from darkness, the animal’s textured skin, powerful form, and illuminated features create a composition that celebrates the majesty of African wildlife and Kambaku.
